A memorable stay

For your stay with us, you can choose from 34 rooms, beautifully furnished and with some original items from 18th century Venice or late 19th century Italy, lovingly refurbished with gorgeous fabrics made by local artisans.

But our passion for antiques doesn't mean we neglect modern convenience; in fact all our rooms have elegant en suite bathrooms with hairdryer, minibar, direct line telephone, safe (large enough to hold a tablet), LCD satellite TV and independent heating and air conditioning.

Some rooms overlook the magnificent facade of Santa Maria del Giglio church, a masterpiece of Venetian Baroque, giving our guests an unexpected new perspective on the impressive statues and carvings that decorate it.

Moreover, our rooms benefit from an ionisation process and pillows are sterilised and deodorised daily.

The different floors of the building are easily reached by lift.

Our Top Room is a small corner of paradise set between earth and sky, with breathtaking views! Here on the top floor you'll feel very privileged, just metres from the marble sculptures that adorn the facade of the splendid Baroque church of Santa Maria del Giglio, right in the heart of Venice!

Our Superior Rooms all have very special views. Here you'll be enchanted by the close-up view of the splendid Baroque facade of Santa Maria del Giglio or the gorgeous gondolas on the canal, as you listen to the gondoliers' romantic serenades.

In our Classic rooms, you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of our interior courtyard. As you look out of your windows, you'll hear the soothing sound of the small fountain, often visited by passing birds, and admire the ancient wisteria plant, whose branches and leaves twine around the pergola to reach all the hotel's inner terraces.

Our single rooms in classic Venetian style ensure every convenience for solo travellers. The beautiful wall coverings lend an intimate, cosy atmosphere, and the warm light of antique Murano glass lamps showcases the ancient Venetian art of glassmaking.

Central location, polite and smiling staff, reasonable rates, utterly unequalled old-style building, the Baroque church outside the window brings Venice right into the room. Bear in mind that you're not just a paying customer, but a guest - there's a big difference.

Professional staff

The professional staff, the kind and friendly attitude of everyone, and the strategic position of the hotel, minutes from St Mark's; the nearby vaporetto stop and the possibility of getting into a gondola very close to the hotel. Breakfast is delicious and varied. The building faces a magnificent Baroque church.

3 stars, magnificent location

I came across this magnificently located 3-star hotel between Campo San Stefano and St Mark's. The hotel is beautifully kept and comfortable, furnished in classic Venetian style. The staff, both reception and front of house, are extremely friendly and polite, always ready to meet the needs of guests. Years ago I ran a consortium of 43 hotels, and I can state that his hotel would definitely be at the top of its class.
