The exhibition “HYPERVENEZIA”, scheduled from 5 September 2021 to 9 January 2022 and curated by Matthieu Humery, curator at the Pinault Collection, presents to the public for the first time the ambitious “Venice Urban Photo Project”, conceived and developed by Mario Peliti. The exhibition features three installations: a linear path of about 400 photographs retracing an ideal itinerary through the sestieri of Venice, a site-specific city map made up of a mosaic of around 900 geolocated images offering an overview of the city, and a video installation of over 3,000 photographs accompanied by an original musical composition created for the exhibition by the renowned musician and composer Nicolas Godin, member of the electronic music duo “Air”.
