The 60th International Art Exhibition, curated by Adriano Pedrosa, will take place from Saturday, April 20, to Sunday, November 24, 2024 (pre-opening on April 17, 18, 19).
The 60th International Art Exhibition, curated by Adriano Pedrosa, will take place from Saturday, April 20, to Sunday, November 24, 2024 (pre-opening on April 17, 18, 19). "I am honored and grateful," stated Pedrosa, "for this prestigious assignment, especially as the first Latin American to curate the International Art Exhibition of the Biennale, and effectively the first to reside in the southern hemisphere of the world."
Adriano Pedrosa (Brazil) has been the Artistic Director of the Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand – MASP since 2014, where he has curated numerous exhibitions, including Histories of Dance (2020) and Brazilian Histories (2022). He was awarded the 2023 Audrey Irmas Award for Curatorial Excellence by the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College in New York.

Biennale Art 2024 Giardini and Arsenale, April 20 > November 24, 2024 Summer hours: 11 am - 7 pm (from April 20 to September 30 - last entry 6:45 pm) Until September 30, Arsenale venue only: Fridays and Saturdays, extended opening until 8:00 pm (last entry at 7:45 pm) Autumn hours: 10 am - 6 pm (from October 1 to November 24 - last entry 5:45 pm) Closed on Mondays (except on April 22, June 17, July 22, September 2 and 30, November 18).
